Objective: Collaborate with the President and senior leadership team to develop and execute core HR strategies and tactical plans to attract, develop, and retain the necessary talent supporting business objectives, including the profitable growth of IB Abel.

Essential Functions/Duties: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Partners with the President and senior leadership team to develop effective HR strategies, tactical plans, and resources supporting IB Abel's strategic and business objectives to achieve profitable growth. Leads and develops an HR team that delivers results to agreed-upon expectations. Creates effective strategies to source, recruit, and retain diverse talent, including effectively onboarding and retaining skilled professionals and field staff to fuel IB Abel's business requirements. Develop effective compensation and benefits programs that motivate and reward people for delivering results. Builds effective talent management strategies and tactical plans in support of IB Abel's revenue growth and profitability plans. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop HR programs, policies, and procedures to consistently seek ways to improve the overall operations and financial performance of the business. Maintains administrative knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws, and issues to understand and coordinate the integration of all such programs. This would include oversight of employee communications, relocation, and community relations. Provides leadership and HR guidance to support senior leaders, managers, and employees in delivering results. Manages the financial measures of the HR department. Ensures effective office management through the coordination of office operations and outsourced services.

Education, Skills, Experience: Required: A seasoned professional with experience in electrical, construction, or manufacturing sectors. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. A minimum of ten years experience in Human Resources or an acceptable combination thereof. Union experience preferred. Technology savvy, including Microsoft Office suite programs and HR systems like BambooHR or related systems. Other: A valid Driver's License is required to operate a company or personal vehicle for company business. Ability to travel as required throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement. Desired: SHRM certification MBA or equivalent

Base Location/Travel Requirements: High visible role within the company. HQ in York, PA, with onsite and offsite work to execute responsibilities. As a senior leader, accessibility to others is required. Travel to other offices or yard locations, training, and offsite meetings as necessary. The job requires visibility to the field and sal ried personnel. Additional customer or trade-related travel may also be required.

Safety/Work Environment: Perform all work following IB Abel's safety policies. The work is performed in an office environment with minimal noise, depending upon the operation of various office equipment, including phones, scanners, copiers, etc. Physical demands include walking, sitting, bending, stooping, vision - close and distant with or without corrective lenses, and lifting - 25 pounds minimum. Capable of operating various types of office equipment, including but not limited to computers, copiers, and scanners.
