Robert Half’s Full-Time Engagement Professionals Practice is looking for a Staff Accountant!

Responsibilities:

• Address any challenges related to the transition of stores/offices into our General Ledger (GL) system

• Assist in building templates to be used by the billing team, including information related to flooring, paint, pricing, etc. for different store locations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and our internal systems to create and manage these templates

• Access and analyze historical templates/information

• Identify and raise questions about any variances, such as differences in pricing for particular items

• Work primarily onsite with some flexibility for hybrid work

• Assist in final testing and conversion activities as required.

Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Proven experience in the role of a Staff Accountant or similar is preferred.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required.

• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
