(Comptek Technologies LLC has an opening in Wheat Ridge, CO) Director of Engineering: Engage as a member of a multi-disciplined product development and engineering team comprised of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers and be responsible for the coordination of work, staffing, and project performance. Manage all structural and thermal engineering resources. Oversee thermal analysis and reporting. Coordinate project deliveries; prepare cost proposals and manage project budgets. Oversee engineering labor allocation towards project/product costs; understand construction methods and procedures; drive quality processes with engineering staff and prepare and present technical proposals and reports. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines as well as operations, program management, and sales. Will supervise our company's Structural Engineers. Utilize Microsoft Office, PDF Writer, tnxTower, and RISA 3D or similar telecom/structural software. May require little travel 3 times per year to conferences and customer sites. Requires Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related and 5 years progressive experience as a Director of Engineering, Engineering Manager, or related. 5 years must include leadership experience in product development applications or in engineering services. 3 years must include experience with: (1)Microsoft Office,(2) PDF Writer, (3) tnxTower, and (4) RISA 3D or similar telecom/structural software. 2 years must include experience with telecom infrastructure. Requires Professional Engineer (PE) license from any U.S. state. $135,325.00 to $145,000.00 per year.
