Mental Health Therapy Aide PER DIEM

HOURS: ALL SHIFTS AND UNITS AS ASSIGNED

SALARY: $23.52 - $26.52 PER HOUR NO BENEFITS

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: NEW YORK STATE FOR ATLEAST ONE (1) MONTH PREFERRED.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A) LPN with one year experience working in a Human Service field (i.e. Long term care, OFA, DSS or Dr.s office etc.); or B) Five (5) years experience working in a Human Service field, one (1) of which must have been in an inpatient mental health unit; or C) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associates Degree in human services with 2 years experience in a human service field as indicated above; or D) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services; or E) A combination of education and experience as described above.

THERE IS NOT A CURRENT CIVIL SERVICE LIST; THE INCUMBENT WILL BE A PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT.
