We are currently seeking an SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:

  • Determining the location and density of circuitry

  • Isolating malfunctions to component level

  • Incorporating engineering design changes

  • Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:

  • Making circuit analyses

  • Calculating wave forms

  • Tracing relationships in signal flow

  • Uses complex test instruments such as:

  • High frequency pulse generators

  • Complex computer control equipment

  • Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices

  • May provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 8 years of experience with relevant electronics / electrical repair experience

-Will consider an Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics / electrical repair experience

  • Must have an interim or active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance; and must be able to maintain Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to work any shift

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics / electrical repair experience

  • Bachelors degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 4 years of electronics / electrical repair experience

  • Work experience in manufacturing automated test equipment

  • Work experience with tight timelines in highly visible situations

  • Work experience in high demanding stressful environments

  • An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits

  • Ability to perform recurring work independently

  • Ability to perform non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project

  • Ability to select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, or layouts, contacts personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate the work, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others.

Salary Range: $29 - $29

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
