About our Team

This team is focused specifically on the Payments portfolio of solutions within LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This position exists to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning, direction, and management of all Sales personnel within your span of control and through interaction with customers and prospects and strong collaboration with internal stakeholder teams.

About the Role

As a Sales Director, you will lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, drive customer acquisition, and foster client relationships. Your focus will be on optimizing sales processes and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead sales team according to LN Risk Sales Plans to include all aspects of Sales function. Provide Company with profitable, annual sales volume.

  • Define measurable expectations of each role within your area of sales responsibility. Evaluate performance against expectation of all staff. Achieve world-class sales metrics.

  • Plan and direct the departments business development policies, objectives, and initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain ongoing customer relationships to anticipate and resolve potential problems.

  • Partner with senior management team to establish strategic sales plans and objectives within Asia Pacific Payments sales.

  • Develop and communicate a timely understanding of LexisNexis Risk Solutions established and evolving markets so that effective sales strategies can be developed that keep pace with the changing needs of the marketplace and your areas business strategy.

  • Establish appropriate performance measures of sales management, account representatives and sales support staff for tracking progress of specific plans and programs already in-place (e.g., Named accounts, account planning, sales pipeline, and forecasts).

  • Conduct periodic operations reviews to cascade the strategy and ensure compliance.

  • Build reporting capability to show pipeline performance and sales cycle dynamics by various product groupings.

  • Conduct an analysis of the life cycle of the customer for trends and how that might impact channel decisions

  • Define training programs for all sales representatives and coordinate with other departments so that representative is exposed to all aspects of company processes and procedures. Evaluate the results of training to ensure that representatives are well equipped and knowledgeable in selling company's products.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Have experience in leading and developing sales teams.

  • Be able to define measurable expectations for sales roles.

  • Have excellent strategic planning and business development skills.

  • Be able to establish and maintain customer relationships.

  • Have experience in partnering with senior management for strategic planning.

  • Be able to develop effective sales strategies based on market understanding.

  • Have experience in establishing performance measures for tracking progress.

  • Be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies.
