Job Description

Title: Social Services Program Manager  Department: Human Services

Hourly/Salaried: Salaried   Reports to: Human Services Director

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Human Services Director, the Social Services Supervisor will provide culturally appropriate referrals, advocacy, and direct services. This position will coordinate with existing tribal programs and outside agencies to provide comprehensive, trauma informed services to Suquamish tribal members and their families. Supervise assigned case managers within the Human Services department.

Major Responsibilities and duties:

Advocates for the provision of a comprehensive program of professional social services to the Suquamish Tribe. Works closely with other tribal programs, departments and external agencies in order to provide a continuum of services to clients to meet their individual needs.

Project approachability and develop trust of the Suquamish community, Kitsap County service providers as well as state service providers. Work together with families to mutually identify goals towards improving the health and functioning of their families.
