Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents, a subsidiary of UHS, is recruiting for a full-time Utilization Review Coordinator , to coordinate Utilization Review functions, monitoring the utilization and continuum of services to optimize reimbursement.

Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the Utilization Management function, which includes the implementation of case management scenarios, consulting with all services to ensure the provision of an effective treatment plan for all patients.

  • Oversees the response to requests for services and interfaces with Managed Care organizations, external reviewers, and other payers. Experience with Managed Care preferred.

  • Manages infection control of the facility, and schedules medical appointments for residents.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing or related field from an accredited school.

  • Must maintain a valid Ohio Nursing license (or compact state license) and driver's license.

  • A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting.

  • Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

  • Schedule is generally Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
