Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Cash FP&A Manager is responsible for leading working capital management across GE HealthCare Korea covering key accounts impacting working capital flow (cash, accounts receivables, inventory, etc). In this role, he/she will focus on forecasting, planning, and analysis, as well as focus on driving increased cash generation through dedicated initiatives that go deep into the business and broadly across functional teams. Identify risks and drive action plans to mitigate risks. Drive operational actions to optimize working capital.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead planning, forecasting, estimates, and reporting of cash flows. Enhance tools, establish operating mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.

  • Responsible for quarterly closing/estimates and develop reliable estimates of working capital; communicate current results and estimates to business leaders. Leveraging data and operational expertise, determine and articulate material variances, risks & opportunities.

  • Define key KPIs to measure productivity of operational and commercial processes, developing the team's expertise, and cross-training constituents across the cash cycle.

  • AR improvement … partner with Commercial Finance to engage in early stages of deal structuring, support payment term negotiations, and drive AWT (“Average Weighted Terms”) reductions; lead the operations team focusing on dispute resolution and commercial engagement activities in order to promote the culture of improving DSO and Cash Conversion Cycle.

  • Inventory improvement … including demo, etc. work with OTR / SVC team to drive improvement of inventory turns and disputes. Help drive efficiency and links between sales and operations, including, how changes to the sales estimate by PSI mix impact inventory, and other distribution and finished goods inventory balances.

  • Leverage strong financial expertise to control movements in Other AR, Deferred, Unbilled, AP & etc.

  • Drive operational engagement & proactively engage with business leaders to articulate cash position & the impact of decisions as well as drive business initiatives & cash education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent; 510 years of finance work experience preferred; FP&A working experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.

  • Clear thinking / problem solving: ability to lead cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing; experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions would be a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills : Confidence/Assertiveness and strong influencing skills

  • Adaptable/Flexible : being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, MS Access, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)

  • You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Beliefs

  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.

  • Fluent speaking and writing in both English and Korean.

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
