The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the human resources function including but not limited to recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, HRIS, workers' compensation and employee relations. Contributes to efficient daily operations and high employee and resident satisfaction.
This position has a focus on recruiting and onboarding. Typical daily responsibilities involve reviewing applications, conducting phone interviews, communicating with hiring managers, and assisting candidates through background screenings and onboarding tasks.
Qualified applicants are required to possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience is required. Hospitality or senior living industry is a plus.
Additional requirements include:
* Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
* Excellent phone skills, communication and interpersonal skills for effective relations with residents, employees, and visitors
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Previous recruiting experience preferred
* Previous experience with ADP Vantage Recruiting Management preferred
