Laundry Attendant

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Laundry Attendant:

• Operate press equipment

• Process laundry in plant establish lot order

• Maintain production floor distribution

• Shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out -items prior to pressing.

• Classify and layout items for pressing.

• Separate soil pick up tickets

• Check for needed repairs on items

• Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system

• Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick up.

• Load trollies into trailers.

• Insure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Shift Timings: All Available

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in laundry, dry-cleaning, or housekeeping preferred.

• General knowledge of laundering products and able to work frequently with cleaning chemicals.

• Strong work ethic and a focus on continual improvement.

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently reach, bend, carry, and balance items.

• Must have own vehicle

• Background check and drug screening required
