We are looking for someone to help preserve and support our global Agent enrollment and maintenance process, as an Agent Database Administrator 1, with the International Agent Maintenance Team. The main responsibility for this role is the setup new agents in the company’s database through a process that involves extensive coordination with various global functional units in Western Union.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensures a timely and accurate system setup of new Network Agents and Commercial subscribers.

  • Providing prompt solutions on data maintenance to different stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, Field Operations, Systems, Treasury, etc.

  • While complying with strict SLA and Performance indicators.

  • Provide support on database data extraction with ODBC and/or Snowflake connections, knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, and Power BI.

  • Responsible for the agent's full life cycle of database maintenance integrity and recoverability, including post-rollout review.

  • You will have the opportunity to support implementation/integration or phases of larger implementation/integration projects which include research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, and training.

  • Creating new ways to perform the daily tasks for the team.

  • Will consider the implementation of changes in complex and critical databases.

  • Performs under continuous alert mode and awareness of the task’s impact.

  • Relates well cross-culturally and cross-functionally to perform responsibilities that are dependent on external input.

  • This position will create automation and process enhancements with the assistance but not limited to MS Power Automate, Python, and any other tool that can provide connection and inside security standards.

Role Requirements

  • Desired college degree in Administration, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Communications or related.

  • Fluency in English B2+.

  • Availability to work between 06:00 am and 15:00 pm, working from Sunday to Thursday.

  • Confident working with AS400, Salesforce, Unisys, SFG, WADS, ARC+, lean tools and strong knowledge of MS Office.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders, and to send announcements across the company.

  • Customer service approach and proactiveness.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, efficiency, attention to detail and analytical.
