We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Service Manager - Marine position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marine Service Supervisor will be responsible for the operational efficiency of the department, utilizing all the resources made available. The Marine Service Supervisor will provide our customers with exceptional customer experience by partnering with them to ensure trust and productivity.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees and direct all activities necessary to maintain a profitable and well-regarded service operation.

  • Interfaces with customers in person and remotely.

  • Oversees the technicians effectively by administrating performance reviews and disciplinary action when necessary.

  • Schedules performance and safety training for personnel within the department.

  • Supports Product Support Sales Representatives on proposals and customer relations.

  • Responsible for managing all projects within the Marine Service Department.

  • Provides support, when needed, to other departments within the Service Department.

  • Interfaces with the General Service Manager for preparing budgets, forecasting and promotional activities.

  • Sensitive to the needs of the Sales Dept and Rental Division.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the General Service Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must have two (2) years office experience.

  • Must have five (5) years of lead or supervisor experience preferrably in the heavy equipment industry.

  • Skilled at leading people and projects with set timelines and deliverables.

  • PC skills required (Excel, Word etc.)

  • Must have a valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record.

  • Must have above average written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be organized and be able to plan multiple tasks.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Walking and moving about on foot, sometimes through uneven terrain.

  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Vision: Reads work orders and parts books.

  • Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person.

  • Sitting: Sits at desk and in vehicles.

    ENVIRONMENTAL:

  • Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.

  • Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.

  • Estimated Compensation $80,000 to $85,000 annually.
