The Lead, EVS will perform job functions to support environmental care such as: Patient Care area cleaning, Non-Patient Care area cleaning, Linen Service, Waste Removal, Sharps container removal, Meeting/Event set-up/breakdown, and Infection Control/Sanitation. Primarily responsible for lead duties such as staff scheduling, training, supervising and monitoring for quality assurance while utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of EVS Housekeeping experience in healthcare.
• EVS Housekeeping Lead experience
