Clean Harbors San Diego, CA is looking for Class B (or CDL A) Field Service / Emergency Response Drivers to perform duties associated with projects like Industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdown, emergency response, site remediation and rail car cleaning, working outside year-round in all types of weather.

Work is local, and schedule is primarily during the day, however, must be flexible and available for emergency situations and scheduled on call weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.

• Performing driving duties associated with municipal services.

• Operating vehicles such as pick-up trucks with trailers.

• Maintaining daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

• Must be flexible with schedule as this role is for Field Services (Emergency Response).

• Must be available for an ON-CALL ROTATION

• Regular work Monday – Friday, early morning start.

• Must be willing to work additional days and shifts that will include nights, weekends and holidays.

• Safety – Teamwork – Compliance focus required.

• 20% overnight travel.

• Manual labor required.

• CDL B (or A) required.

• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

• Tanker endorsement preferred.

• Must be able to drive MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

• Any other duties as assigned by management.
