The Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team is looking for an Instructional Designer to join a small but highly collaborative team that is growing quickly. The successful candidate will have experience designing competency frameworks, content templates and multi-modal learning programs, as well as working with enablement technology vendors. Success in the role will be based on implementing a configurable content strategy, resulting in role-based learning plans and associated certifications. This role reports to the Senior Director of Go-to-Market Enablement, working within a matrixed team. Work from the US home office is available, but Boston area location is preferred. What you will do:

  • Contribute to the overall enablement strategy, including infrastructure, organization, and content components.
  • Implement and administer a competency framework, working through a prioritized list of all GTM roles.
  • Design and maintain a modular content template that standardizes the learning experience while allowing for updating and localization.
  • Configure role-based learning plans and associated certifications, based on applying the competency framework.
  • Design and implement a basic content management strategy, using existing systems and field-based developers.
  • Develop and refine learning strategies, including engaging with vendors for content development and delivery.
  • Partner with the Global Events team for the annual Global Kick Off, and the HR department for new hire onboarding.
  • Support skill building for the CyberArk partner network, working with the Director of Partner Enablement.

What you need to succeed:

  • Ability to build relationships and influence all levels within the organization, including sales, technical presales, and customer success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts concisely and compellingly.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to drive a standard approach across multiple groups.
  • Creative problem-solving, able to take a hands-on approach to building enablement solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated project management capability in a highly matrixed organization, including vendor contributions.
  • Relentless customer focus, with the aim of delighting customers throughout the sales process and subsequent value delivery.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Experience working with global teams in multiple time zones.
  • Prior experience with a fast-growth enterprise software or technology company preferred.
  • Ability to travel domesticall and internationally as needed - estimated 20%.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee's performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
