The Laundry attendant position requires that you assist individuals with loading washers and dryers. This may include instructions for soap amounts, time machines run, items which may not be appropriate to launder, to name a few. You must have adequate math skills to give change to customers and basic ability to operate a cash register. You need to be able to answer the phone and take appropriate messages. You need to have basic housekeeping skills to clean machines, mop, and sweep. You will need to label washer and dryers for accounts processed by our laundry. You will need to be able to communicate customer requests, complaints and suggestions to your supervisor. You will need to be able, after appropriate training, process from start to finish orders that are received at the laundry. You will need to be an honest and reliable individual who is able to write legibly.
