Job Summary and Qualifications

The CVOR RN Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care to the CVOR patient and their designated support system. The quality of care given in the surgical services area will be in keeping with the philosophy, mission, and values of the hospital and the Department of Nursing; will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.

The CVOR RN Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the Department. The Supervisor will function in cooperation with the leadership team include developing plans, policies, and procedures to efficiently and effectively meet the objective of providing quality care at Orange Park Medical Center. The CVOR RN Supervisor assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing, and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a twenty‑four (24) hour basis.

What qualifications you will need:

· Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required

· Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license

· A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required

· Previous CVOR experience required

Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience and 1 year of Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
