Electrical Automation Technician for a leading industrial manufacturer based near North Charleston, SC. Role is responsible to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant automation equipment. To be considered - must have electronic maintenance & repair experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

This is a permanent opportunity. Moving assistance is available.

Candidates must be comfortable working the Dupont shift schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have electronic maintenance and repair experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

• PLC troubleshooting experience

• Ability to read and interpret electronic/electrical drawings and specifications

Preferred:

• Associate degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology, OR Military-equivalent electronics training and certification

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity

• Inspect, maintain, repair motor control systems for plant equipment

• Perform motor drive system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Siemens and Rockwell families of drive systems

• Troubleshooting equipment using PLC interface for diagnostics.

• Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment
