JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: NEMT (Non-emergency medical transportation driver) Department: Transportation Probationary Period: 30-Day orientation phase Location: Norco/Corona/Eastvale/Jurupa Valley Salary: $16.00 -$18.00 based on experience

SUMMARY As the job of a driver, you are responsible to transport patients to and from their scheduled appointments. This includes locations such as hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, other facilities, including their private home in a safe professional manner. Must be a professional, responsible and compassionate individual with a code of ethics. Drivers will be responsible for keeping up company vehicles along with making sure the assigned equipment remains clean and in working condition, drivers are required to complete a daily inventory and restock on vehicle supplies, completion of assigned daily work orders must be completed to its entirety for auditing record keeping purposes. Must complete daily safety vehicle pre-inspection(s) to make sure that vehicle assigned is in proper safe working condition before shift begins. Will be required to report any incidents or important information according to company policies and protocols. Driver is required to be flexible on shift scheduling as there is no set schedule and changes daily. You will be required to report to dispatch throughout your entire shift to ensure the punctuality of the patient's arrival to appointment. Helping Hands Medical Transportation will provide all drivers with an assigned work tablet and two-way radio for communication. Requirements: 1. Must complete CPR and First Aid certification training. 2. Current and valid California drivers license. 3. Must pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screening. 4. Provide a current driving record of DMV printout. 5. Must have a class B or C license -OK 6. Must pass mandatory Physical, TB testing (If applicable) 7. Must pass drivers sensitivity training
