Tram Driver

The Tram Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings on campus using the community trams. This position ensures residents receive all appropriate assistance during transport. Driver fulfills all operational tasks involving driving.


Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of 6 months experience driving a vehicle; High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must possess a current and valid Florida driver's license at time of hire. Must be willing to and capable of being certified in CPR.

*Must possess and maintain a clean DMV driving record.

*Excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to deal with stress and the needs of older adults.

*Ability to use a client and customer- focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.

*Must be sensitive to the needs of older adults and enjoy working with a senior population.
