On-Call Bus Driver Mount Vernon Nazarene University exists to shape lives through educating the whole person and cultivating Christ-likeness for lifelong learning and service. The University is seeking On-Call Bus Drivers for its Motor Pool/Facilities Office on the Mount Vernon main campus.  The position reports to the Motor Pool Coordinator and is available immediately, upon appointment of a successful candidate. 

 Bus Drivers transport students safely to campus activities and athletic events on the University bus.  Most trips are driving 3-5 hours each way and returning the same day, but employees may be called on the weekends or for overnights.

Expectations for the successful candidate: •     High School Diploma •     Evangelical Christian confession of faith •     Copy of a physical showing the candidate is approved to drive •     Clean driving record with the ability to pass MVNU's MVR check •     Requires CDL A, or CDL B, with a Passenger endorsement •     Ability to lift 50lbs
