Job Description

As a Market Access Product Manager in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Engaging proactively with business partners and affiliates, fostering discussions on business outcomes and execution.

  • Leading projects from initiation, through project planning, to successful completion and execution, collaborating closely with global project management teams to manage scope, issues, and risks effectively.

  • Identifying and prioritizing business requirements and features in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Driving change management processes and facilitating the rollout of new capabilities to affiliates and ensuring smooth adoption.

  • Facilitating solutioning workshops with a diverse global business team and affiliates to gather insights and drive innovation.

  • Working closely with product owners, business analysts, project managers, users, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.

  • Spearheading process improvement initiatives, defining and optimizing processes for effective management of affiliate requests, prioritization, and release planning.

  • Overseeing a portfolio of technology products, ensuring cross-functional alignment on scope, benefits, cost, and timeline.

  • Proactively understanding business strategies, educating stakeholders on existing technology capabilities, and influencing capability roadmaps and investment decisions.

  • Leading iMAP Program/Projects, driving initiatives forward, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all BRM activities within the iMAP portfolio, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable AbbVie Policies and procedures, including Software Development Life Cycle (SLC) and DevOps standards.

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience.

  • 3+ years' experience working on a matrixed team, preferably across international markets.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to think strategically with a strong ability to execute and exceed stakeholder expectations and project goals.

  • Well-versed with multiple development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different geographical locations.

  • Ability to translate complex business processes into clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria, considering the diverse needs of the global affiliate teams and the specific requirements.

  • Experience with taking technology products through design, development, activation, and sustainment.

  • Roadmap, innovation, and vision creation experience.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Beneficial:

  • Demonstrate proficiency across a range of technologies related to the integration, visualization, and analysis of large and complex data sets.

  • Proven track record in leading medium to large workstreams, involving business and technical teams.

  • Experience with managing teams consisting of onshore/offshore/near shore resources, in a multi-vendor environment.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry.
