Plant Maintenance Technician- Melrose 2nd shift

12:00pm-8:30pm, M-F & weekends when needed. Salary negotiable, Pay range $23-$29 an hour

based on experience/training.

  1. Service all plant equipment through preventive, scheduled and emergency repair work orders.

  2. Diagnose and perform repairs and calibrations on electromechanical and solid state of the art equipment.

  3. Assist other team members in completing work orders/task per maintenance schedule.

  4. May be part of the Emergency Response team.

  5. Adhere to all NEC code regulations accordingly.

  6. Perform other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner.

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as well as read schematics in various departments.

  • May be required to lift more than 40 lbs. at times.

  • Has general understanding of maintenance

  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English.

  • Work experience pertaining to mechanical field of 1 year or greater.

  • Ability to use multimeters and electronic test equipment, read schematics and diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 year Associates degree in an Maintenance related field of military MOS.

• Certifications and/or Registered license in Mechanical field.

Position available: Immediately at Jennie-O Plant Melrose, MN.
