It is licensed as a 100-bed nursing facility. The Administrator position provides leadership and direction for the facility operations including medical, clinical, quality, strategic planning, fiscal oversight, business and support services, human resources, and maintenance and security. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Knowledgeof nursing home administration including federal and state regulations. * Knowledge of contract administration, quality control practices, and public relations. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking skills. * Ability to direct and coordinate the financial and budget activities to fund operations and increase efficiency. * Ability to manage multiple and competing high-profile, sensitive or controversial issues. * Ability to motivate staff and provide effective leadership. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human services, business, or another healthcare related field. o Master’s in nursing home administration or related healthcare administration field, including an internship/residency requirements of at least 480 hours in a SNF or ICF is preferred. o Eight years of professional experience in hospital or facility administration. o Three years of experience directly managing professional staff. o Montana Nursing Home Administrator License Preferred (Required within 6 months of hire) o Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
