JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under the general supervision of the Activities Therapist Supervisor, this position loads, transports, and serves as the first line of maintenance and safety for members, member property, facility equipment, and tuggers/trams in the tunnel system between Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVHK) buildings. The incumbent interacts directly with WVHK members and families, and provides high-quality customer service, offering information, addressing questions, and resolving issues. The majority of the position\'s duties are performed with limited day-to-day supervision. These are flexible part-time positions with the option to pick up additional hours as desired with no required overtime. LTE jobs are limited to 1039 hours in a 12-month period and do not include employee benefits. Conditions are those generally found in healthcare settings and docking areas. The facility has a network of underground tunnels that connect various buildings and access to certain work areas. Employment in this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test. Due to the nature of the positions, WDVA will conduct a criminal background check prior to an offer of employment.
