POSITION: Runner

REPORTS TO: Event Manager
FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Part-time/Non-Exempt
Summary
ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Runner for ASM managed facilities. Responsible for supporting tour and event personnel as requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the daily runner, event assistant for the tour.
Shop for various items as requested by the tour manager or other tour personnel.
Pick up and deliver tour personnel and equipment as instructed by the tour manager or other tour personnel.
Provide client with cost estimates for purchases.
Pick up/return rental vehicles.
Refill rental vehicles with gas.
Settle receipts with tour prior to the end of the shift/show
Pre-shop for catering or other needs as directed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
Detailed oriented
Money handling skills
Ability to work long extensive hours based on tour manager/tour personnel requirements.
Ability to operate effectively in a multiple-demand environment is essential.
Strong customer service is essential.
Knowledge of the immediate Jacksonville area
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous work in back of house event support experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Hours are event driven including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
