We are seeking highly motivated DAT Analysts / Systems Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site work to be performed in Huntsville, AL. There are no remote work options.

As an Analyst for the GWS A&D SPA DAT team you will be an individual contributor in an Agile environment supporting the GWS program by building analysis tools in a common repo using Python, performing deep dive analysis on internal tests at a system level, performing GMD Ground Tests, performing GMD Flight Tests, and providing technical performance measures.

Requirements :

• Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field with 5 - 7 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience

• Recent extensive knowledge of Python and MATLAB

• Recent experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub

• Experience in an Agile environment.

• Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments.

• Demonstrated Communication skills.

• Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Radar Analysis

• Experience with GMD Ground Tests and Flight Tests

• Experience with GoLong and Cython

• Experience with requirements development/collaboration

• Exposure to GMD

• Small team leadership and mentoring skills

• Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
