Summary:

The DOM will lead oncology marketing for ERLEADA® and AKKEGA, and the launch of new indications across both products, as well as provide input into the broader Genitourinary (GU) Cancer portfolio (Bladder and Prostate). The position will be responsible for the development of an integrated U.S. strategy, directing all marketing activities and the design, planning, and execution of all the promotional tactics to support the launch and marketplace success of the GU and Prostate portfolio. The position will be responsible for integration of brand and sales strategy for the GU and Prostate portfolio and must work closely with sales leadership. The Director of Marketing will work closely with Global Commercial Strategy to ensure successful lifecycle management of the prostate portfolio. The Director of Marketing must work closely with multiple functions including the Bladder Cancer Marketing team, Sales, Sales Training, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, HECOR, Global Commercial Strategy, R&D, New Business Development, Corporate Communications, and outside agencies and vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities. The position will lead a team of marketing professionals (including staff that has direct reports) and the incumbent will be responsible for staffing, training, and developing the marketing team members.

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop an integrated business plan and strategic plan for the GU and Prostate portfolio.

  • Develops brand strategies and tactics to support launch and growth of ERLEADA®, AKEEGA and the GU Portfolio in the US market with significant competition.

  • Oversee Profitability attainment for ERLEADA®, AKEEGA.

  • Establish annual Marketing Plans for all assets and executes promotional tactics with a focus on innovation.

  • Provide forecasts for products and updates throughout the year.

  • Utilizes market research and analytics to gain insights to help prioritize resources and properly plan product tactics.

  • Co-ordinate promotional activities with sales management.

  • Partner with Sales Training on marketed products and updates as needed.

  • Develop pricing and contracting tactics for products.

  • Plan and execute promotional activities at company conventions.

  • Support franchise team cross-functional initiatives.

  • Work to continually improve protocol, timetables and resource allocation to accomplish all tasks including sales lead process.

  • Responsible for annual financial forecasts.

  • Support development of IEGP for the prostate portfolio to build and strengthen an impactful value proposition for key stakeholders.

  • Plan distribution tactics for products.

  • Manage marketing budget to support financial objectives.

  • Track and monitor monthly performance of both assets and recommends corrections as needed.

  • Collaborate with New Business Development, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Market Research, and Strategic Customer Group organizations in long-term strategic planning.

  • Interact effectively and supports franchise new product development project teams. Continually assesses competitive landscape and responds accordingly.

  • Work compliantly and within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals.

  • Work closely with DOM for Bladder Portfolio on GU Strategy as well as talent management across shared teams

  • Work closely with National Sales Director, VP of Sales & Marketing, and Sr. Director Finance to ensure appropriate resources and organizational alignment in order to capitalize on short-term and long-term business opportunities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s is required; MBA is preferred.

  • Biology/Scientific background is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years business experience is required (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, etc)

  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated marketing experience and proven performance is required.

  • Oncology sales or marketing experience is preferred.

  • US in-line marketing experience (professional and/or consumer) is required.

  • Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies is required.

  • Must have a demonstrated track record of strong leadership capabilities with ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.

  • People management experience is required.

  • Product Launch experience is preferred.

  • Previous Pharma Sales or Sales Management experience is preferred.

  • Global Marketing/ Early Commercial Development experience is preferred.

  • This position is in Horsham, PA and requires up to 25% travel predominantly US with limited outside US travel.
