About Us:

Our client is a leading manufacturer, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with manufacturing industry experience to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and financial statements.

• Maintain fixed asset records and assist in inventory management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and sales to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis as needed.

• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices relevant to the manufacturing industry.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles and cost accounting.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
