The Resort at Paws Up Retail Assistant Manager in Greenough, Montana

The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Retail Assistant Manager to our team. The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment for guests to enjoy while on property and to support the Retail Manager in daily operations of the retail department. This position will help ensure the retail team provides exceptional service to fellow team members and guests.

The Primary Functions are:

  • Drives towards the achievement of maximum sales and growth in line with company vision and values in partnership with other functional leads for department.

  • Coordinate the interviewing, hiring, and training of seasonal retail team members.

  • Assist Retail Manager with supervising seasonal team members and help carry out the department directives.

  • Owns tasks given by Retail Manager.

  • Models the ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day business needs.

  • Communicates with merchants and vendors, as needed.

  • Fulfill, package, and ship online orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.

  • Ensures accurate inventory by building product and receiving product in inventory management system.

  • Manages merchandise and resolves any issues regarding damages or returns.

  • Engages with guests and staff in a friendly and meaningful way.

  • Educates self, staff, and guests on merchandise and events on property.

  • Actively maintains and merchandises the sales floor to the Retail Manager’s standards.

  • Creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.

  • Maintains positive working relationships throughout The Resort at Paws Up in order to provide the best guest experience.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Keeps the Retail Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

  • Partners with Retail Manager to assist in providing thoughtful amenities and for groups and special events.

  • Updates and manages purchase orders in inventory management system.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.

  • Any additional tasks as needed.

    Looking for Team Members with:

  • 1-2 years of luxury, high end guest service experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team

  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and guest service management.

  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

  • Experience with Shopify Pro and Shopify Online preferred.

  • Valid State Driver’s License
