Role Highlights

  • Collaborate with radiologists to perform diagnostic radiology procedures

  • Enhance patient experience by addressing special, physical, emotional, and age-specific needs

  • Work with state-of-the-art technology alongside exceptional physicians and nurses

  • Full-time and part-time shifts available (day, evening, and weekend)

  • Shift differentials up to 22% added to base pay

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams

  • Support patient care areas pre and post procedures

  • Ensure patient care, safety, education, and radiation protection

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System

  • Supervise and educate radiology students

  • Participate in departmental projects and improvement initiatives

  • Assist with patient transport, clerical functions, equipment maintenance, and supply management

Qualifications

  • Accredited Radiologic Technology Program completion

  • 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred

  • Current BLS Certification

  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT

Skills and Abilities

  • High level of clinical and professional accountability

  • Effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to coach and teach team members

  • Team-oriented with problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with diverse patient populations

Pay Details: $21.00 to $46.00 per hour
