Position Purpose

Registered Nurse – Infection Preventionist provides administrative, surveillance and consultative work in planning, developing, co-ordinating and administering an Infection Control Program. Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

What you will do:

$20,000 Sign on Bonus

  • Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of service for the Nurse Epidemiologist s area of practice.

  • Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.

  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.

  • Performs hospital wide surveillance activities.

  • Initiates and participates in related patient care activities.

  • Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of school of nursing is required.

  • Certification in Infection Control preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years prior Infection Control experience in an acute care facility is

  • necessary.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary.

  • Licensure :* Licensed RN in the State of Florida is required. Bachelors of Nursing is preferred. (BSN)
