Description

We are in search of an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our client's team in the service industry, located in Frisco, Texas. This is a fully remote position and a contract-to-hire opportunity! This role provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge of full-cycle accounting in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for an extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Month-end Close, Journal Entries and other accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities:

• Partner with AP team to understand and assist with the processing of payable invoices and address any related queries

• Oversee the creation of invoices and client billing as part of AR duties

• Collaborate with the collections team for month-end close and journal entries

• Provide accounting for clients while adhering to unique requirements and procedures per line of business

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient and accurate accounting functions

• Understand and address complexities of accounting tasks in a large organization

• Ensure understanding of client operations and cater to specific requirements such as rebates

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for efficient data management and reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close and journal entries

• Maintain general ledger and ensure all entries and transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of staff accountant experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of payables and receivables process

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong Excel abilities - must be able to perform V-Lookups, Pivot Tables (Testing required for this!)

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Ability to manage and record Journal Entries

• Knowledge of the General Ledger system
