POSITION SUMMARY

Operate, load, and maintain vacuum furnace using controller to ensure products are heat treated to meet customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load furnace and operate all equipment and machinery to ensure quality and productivity standards are achieved.
• Set and monitor required furnace levels of controller to achieve desired results.
• Operate overhead crane to load and unload parts into the vacuum furnaces.
• Monitor all aspects of furnace operation to ensure parameters remain within specification requirements.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• 1 or more year of experience or equivalent of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate, control and watch gauges, dials or other indicators, computer workstation and related hardware/software.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to use and operate overhead crane for movement of parts.
• Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use basic mathematical equations.

Pay Rate:The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
