Eagle Harbor Inn Food & Spirits LLC Lead Cook in Eagle Harbor, Michigan

Eagle Harbor Inn, a restaurant in Eagle Harbor, Michigan is looking for a lead Cook to manage and operate the in-house full service commercial kitchen which provides lunch and dinner for a 70-seat restaurant.  The successful candidate is an energetic individual with leadership skills and attention to details. Additionally, this individual can follow our tradition of quality food and service with the ability to recreate our current menu as well as develop feature dishes.  Experience in food service and current Food Safety certification is required.

Primary Responsibility:  Manage the daily kitchen activities including kitchen start-up, service and food preparation, kitchen staff activities (cooks, pizza cooks, dish washers), daily features (as required), service for lunch and dinner, daily clean up, sanitation and worker safety,

Qualifications:

Leadership ability to effectively manage and lead a kitchen staff.

Able to stand for entire shift,

Able to lift up to 40 pounds

Able to read food orders and effectively communicate with owners, staff, and vendors.

Experience
Minimum 3 years managing a full-service kitchen
  • Culinary Certification a plus.

Pay
  • Pay will be based upon experience
