Whim Hospitality Housekeeping Supervisor - Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas

The Camp Lucy Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Camp Lucy’s facilities and grounds maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout each event and guest stay. The general responsibilities are listed below.  

Hours:  Thursday through Monday 

Supervisor : Lodging Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Works to ensure high scores for cleanliness and other housekeeping-related

  • To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel, with the supervision and inspection of all guest rooms and areas.

  • Manage the day to day check-in/out of guest rooms, venue cleaning, and general staff matters

  • To allocate areas of cleaning on a daily basis fairly, in accordance with hotel procedures and hotel business.

  • Works to ensure high scores for cleanliness and other housekeeping-related

  • Develops and maintains a deep cleaning schedule.

  • Allocates cleaning assignments on a daily basis fairly, in accordance with hotel procedures and hotel business.

  • Ensures that any and all storage areas are kept secure at all times.

  • Ensures all housekeeping and laundry equipment is maintained in working order

  • Reports on standard procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager

  • Performs housekeeping, laundry, and house person functions whenever necessary.

  • Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, and staff.

  • Set clear expectations for team members – ensure accountability.

  • Motivate and encourage staff to solve guest and associate related concerns.

  • Recognize good team performance on a continuous basis through reward and recognition programs.

  • Schedule and work within the designated Labor Model and assigned budget.

  • Manage employee’s schedules with the Housekeeping Manager: be able to input schedules and maintain weekly reports.

  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, requirements and use of equipment.

  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Preferred Skillset

  • Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish

  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.

  • Inventory Management 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs and Computers
