Job Description:

As the Social Media Producer for Huntington Place Convention Center, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our digital presence and engaging with our diverse audience. Your role will involve crafting and implementing an innovative social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, drive event attendance, and foster community engagement. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing, events, and sales teams to create captivating content that resonates with our target audience and showcases the unique offerings of our convention center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy tailored to the needs and objectives of Huntington Place Convention Center.

  • Curate and create compelling content, including photos, videos, stories, and interactive elements, optimized for each social media platform.

  • Manage all aspects of our social media presence, from content creation and scheduling to community management and engagement.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and alignment with marketing initiatives.

  • Stay abreast of social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to continually optimize our strategy and tactics.

  • Analyze performance metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities for engagement.

  • Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify our reach and drive awareness of upcoming events.

  • Plan and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to support event promotion and drive ticket sales.

  • Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and guidelines governing social media usage and content promotion.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Two years of experience in social media management, preferably within the events, hospitality, or entertainment industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms relevant to our target audience.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Facebook Insights, and Google Analytics.

  • Creative flair and a strong eye for design, with the ability to conceptualize and produce visually compelling content.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to interpret metrics and insights to optimize performance.

  • Experience with social media advertising platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads, is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
