We are actively seeking an experiecnced senior-level integrated Product Support Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Rapid Sustainment Office Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. RSO's mission is to advance the SECAF's direction and "...leverage mature, new, and emerging technology to reduce sustainment costs and improve readiness..." The RSO will play a role in sustainment analogous to a research laboratory in development. Its customer base-the logistics and sustainment enterprise-should come to view RSO as their center of excellence for identifying, maturing, and transitioning technologies with traceable and measurable readiness impacts, cost reductions, and ease of use. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Support the development and integration of configuration management and technical data management processes into acquisition, sustainment, contracting strategies, and supporting documentation. Review and evaluate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) proposals and reports for configuration status accounting of assigned system / subsystem(s) and compliance with Government technical data requirements. Plan/implement Functional Configuration Audits (FCA)s and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)s and confirm the adequacy of data used to support these audits. Participate in Government reviews / meetings / working groups as applicable and in Government and industry teams for the resolution of complex configuration management issues. Review OEM-delivered programmatic data (e.g., engineering drawings, performance specifications, hardware and software configuration documentation, interface control documents, and commercial item descriptions/specifications) to ensure that deliverables meet technical and programmatic requirements. Perform configuration management/data management functions including but not limited to: Configuration Identification: CPIN, CIs, CSCE, GRITS, configuration control, and RFDs, configuration audits, program reviews, System Verification Reviews (SVR), configuration status accounting, and data management including but not limited to DIDs, CDRL items, EDM, DR, deviations/waivers, and Material Improvement Program (MIP) review boards Prepare and submit product data or perform other configuration management activities as required, to include support for Configuration Control Board (CCB) Charter development and the administration of CCB activities. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Clearance: Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being perfor
