Vi Talent Acquisition Assistant in Chicago, Illinois
Vi is the parent organization of ten exclusive continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in some of the nation's most desirable locales. The Human Resources department at Vi's corporate office, located in downtown Chicago, seeks a Talent Acquisition Assistant to assist and support the execution of the company's talent acquisition strategies for attracting, evaluating and hiring top talent.
In this new role, you will:
Administer, troubleshoot and support the Applicant Tracking System (ADP Recruiting Management) and associated system integrations as well as assist with and recommend system improvements/enhancements.
Support talent acquisition tools/resources, including texting, reference checking and job distribution.
Generate recurring talent acquisition reports.
Assist with planning and executing of new talent acquisition initiatives.
Conduct research on best practices and new trends.
Evaluate potential recruiting-related vendors and schedule demos.
Support the field HR team with search strategies, job promotions, including boosts on social media.
Update user guides and process flowcharts when changes are made.
Support social media efforts.
Assist with outreach and branding campaigns.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in an HR Coordinator or Assistant role with exposure to Recruiting/Talent Acquisition preferred. System administration skills with ADP recruiting or similar Applicant Tracking System. Ability to promote / post job opportunities on various recruiting websites and social media channels. Must be detail-oriented with oral and written communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills with ability to do pivot tables and vlookups. Bachelor's degree is required. AIRS or other Recruiting/HR certification is desirable.
