Vi Corporate Director of Sales in Chicago, Illinois

Vi is the parent organization of ten exclusive continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in some of the nation’s most desirable locales. The Corporate Director of Sales position, in conjunction with the AVP of Sales, is responsible for census improvement by assessing, developing, implementing and supporting Independent Living sales and Care Center admissions programs and initiatives as needed.

Specifically, this position supports community-specific sales projects as identified by the AVP of Sales to assist in fill-up and occupancy growth strategies with a primary focus on the portfolio care venues which include: monitoring metrics, managing weekly/monthly coaching plans, providing input on execution of sales events and assisting with the community relations/outreach strategy.

Additionally, provides intermittent support for community-specific Care Center occupancy needs assisting in strategies to increase private Medicare admissions which include: monitoring metrics for admission related occupancy and marketing activities, providing strategy recommendations for outreach and rehabilitation referrals, creating a unified annual admissions plan with the clinical and admissions teams.

This position focuses on coaching and training needs within Vi’s portfolio to achieve and maintain the established occupancy target rate as a company in independent living and specific care venues. Assists with sales training development and new hire training and orientation to ensure data integrity and compliance.


Requires a demonstrated track record of improving sales and 5 years of senior living sales experience, CCRC sales experience preferred. Training and development skills and a minimum of 3 years of sales management preferred. Must be able to travel up to 50% and provide sales back-up during periods of turnover at a community location. We need a professional that has excellent relationships skills, analytical skills, is a good strategic problem solver and a self-starter. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, Enquire preferred. College degree is required.
