HVAC Maintenance Technician: Must be licensed to work on industrial HVAC systems, and have current licenses to work on systems with refrigerant. Licenses must be held by the technician individually. Must have experience working with HVAC systems in an industrial plant to be considered for this position. Experience and knowledge of principles of HVAC/R systems, controls and components, computerized electrical circuits and systems as they related to air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, refrigerated cooling, commercial mechanical and electrical systems, combustionsystems, air and water balancing.Knowledge of the fundamentals of HVAC/R equipment and troubleshooting techniques, environmental regulations for refrigerantsfor City, State and EPA regulations. This position must have completed certifications with at least one of the following:

• NATE (North American Technician Excellence)

• HVAC Excellence

• Equivalent nationally recognized certification program acceptable

Demonstration of this certification requirement must be provided upon hiring for this position.
