Certified Nursing Assistant - Broomfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Adara Living) is looking to fill TWENTY-FIVE (25) Certified Nursing Assistants in Broomfield, CO to work approximately 04/01/2024 to 12/31/2024

This is a temporary, full-time, peak-load position.

Duties: Provide or assist with basic care or support under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Perform duties such as monitoring of health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, or ambulation of patients in a health or nursing facility. Adjust position of patients on beds or tables, feed patients, record vital statistics or other health information, hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety, and assist patients with daily activities. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information related to the residents. Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates as well as observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all relevant sources. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.

Requirements: Must have a Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant license within 45 days after arrival. Be able to communicate in English. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of three feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 12 feet.

Terms & Conditions of Employment: Fulltime. Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum. Work schedules can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am to 6:00pm, 6:00pm to 6:00am alternating days. 3 or 4 12-hour shifts per week and shift hours may vary.

Paid biweekly, wages calculated each workweek. Workers will be paid no less than $19.35 per hour. Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times worker's regular hourly pay ($29.03 per hour). All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made. From each paycheck, deductions may include uniform expenses and elected benefits contributions. The employer allows employees to purchase scrubs voluntarily, with payroll deduction as an option.

On-the-job training provided. The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Inbound/Outbound Transportation: Employer will provide transportation to the worksite free of charge; however, if employee fails to complete 50% of the work contract period, employer may withhold reasonable cost of transportation from employee's final paycheck.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.

The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Subsistence will be at least $15.46 per day of travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. Employer will provide or pay the reasonable costs for lodging where lodging is necessary.

Employer will reimburse worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker.

Three-fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees three-fourths of the total number of work hours of each 12-week period for beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker or the advertised ontractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration of the date specified in the work contract.
