Bozeman Health EEG Technician (PT- 0.6 FTE) in Bozeman, Montana
Position Summary:
The EEG Technician performs clinical neurodiagnostic procedures including all electroencephalograms, routine and portable electrocerebral silence, 24-hr ambulatory EEG's, in accordance with the clinical practice guidelines established by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and departmental policies/procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostics (END) Program, or related Associate's degree
Preferred: RRT, RPSGT, REEGT Certification
Preferred: Three (3) years’ experience with EEG procedures in a patient care environment
Essential Job Functions:
Performs clinical neurodiagnostic procedures including all electroencephalograms, routine and portable electrocerebral silence, 24-hr ambulatory EEG's, in accordance with the clinical practice guidelines established by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and departmental policies/procedures.
Completes all charges according to department guidelines.
Keeps equipment clean and in operating condition, detects instrument malfunction, makes minor adjustments or reports need for major repairs.
Participates in department projects, initiatives and continuing education.
Ensures supplies and material are ordered and stocked.
Leads, teaches, inspires, helps and consistently demonstrates hospital behavioral standards

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Standard office equipment and computer applications; MS Office, EMR, internet applications etc.
Ability to work varied shifts
