Job Description:

Basic understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, heating hot water systems, air handlers, DX/VRF systems, and start-up service

  • Performs pre-functional inspections/checklist of commercial HVAC systems
  • Performs installation, diagnostic and repairs on DX refrigerant systems as needed
  • Documents work by completing paperwork for each piece of equipment.
  • Verification and assistance installation mechanics in completing and mounting of field installed devices on equipment prior to start up as needed
  • Work with Commissioning agents as required and complete documentation

Requirements:

  • Technical degree from accredited school and 2 years HVAC work experience or 4-year commercial HVAC experience
  • Computer skills in using Microsoft office and/or IPad for generation of field reports/startup forms

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems sequence of operations
  • VRF installation and startup
  • DDC controls
