Duties:

To transport students to and from assigned stops, as well as provide and maintain a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff and community. Additional duties as needed in the custodial department. 

Qualifications:

 Academic:  Minimum -- High school diploma.

                 Preferred -- Post secondary school training.

 Driving:      Clear DMV report is required.

Experience:   

Minimum -- One year of work-related experience in driving school bus or van.

Other Skills:

Mathematical -- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Effective communication and problem solving skills.

Work Day:                    7:00 am - 4:00 pm; 8 hour/day, 1 hour unpaid lunch

Work Year:                   245 days/year plus 15 paid holidays

Up-to-date Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 (FBI fingerprint via PA Dept of Education) clearances must be attached to your online application to be considered for an interview. Clearances must be for EMPLOYMENT purposes. We are not permitted to accept VOLUNTEER clearances. Clearances more than five (5) years old will not be accepted. FBI Fingerprint clearance must be done via PA Dept of Education. If the FBI Clearance does not list a PAE number, it is not a valid clearance for an educational institution.

Act 168 disclosure releases will need completed prior to hire. Current physical and TB results will be required from hired candidate.
