Sauder Woodworking Co. Machine Operator in Archbold, Ohio

Run machines according to all established, written and/or verbal, operational and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety policies. Operator will troubleshoot and maintain all equipment. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run machine/equipment in manufacturing environment according to all established, written and/or verbal, operational and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety policies.
  • Sets-up, troubleshoots, and maintains all production equipment.
  • Monitors machine and associated equipment.
  • Performs quality measurements and makes consistent quality judgments.
  • Performs computer interactions and maintains other records / documentation as required.
  • Maintains area according to 5S policy and participate in the CIO process.
  • Maintains production to meet schedule attainment requirements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess good math skills with foundations of Algebra.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle criticism and feedback constructively.
  • Ability to work constructively in a team environment.
  • Expresses flexibility and an eagerness to learn new tasks.
