applicants will need to successfully complete, within a year of hire, the Maine ALERT Test ++ sponsored by the Maine

++ Initial ALERT test fee will be paid by York County; any subsequent ALERT testing needed will be
paid for by the applicant.
* Starting Pay \$18.67/hr plus \$3.00/hr Premium Pay; PLUS Shift Differential of \$3.00/hr
for the 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. shift; \$2.00 /hr Shift Differential for the 4:00 p.m. to
12:00 a.m. shift; and \$2.00/ hr for weekend Shift Differential. Additional Compensation for
those applicants with more than 1 year experience in Corrections and a current Maine
Corrections Certificate
